Itinerary
On arrival at Paro airport, meet & assist by our representative and drive to Thimphu; on arrival check-in into hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Thimphu.
After breakfast, explore the highlights of Thimphu including Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, and the Textile Museum. Optional visit to the Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight at Thimphu.
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Punakha via Dochu La Pass (3,100 m), known for its 108 memorial stupas and panoramic Himalayan views. On arrival check-in into hotel. Later visit the majestic Punakha Dzong and enjoy a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple). Overnight at Punakha.
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Paro; on arrival check-in into hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or explore Paro town on foot. Overnight at Paro.
After breakfast, visit National Museum, Rinpung Dzong, and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. Enjoy views of the Paro Valley and riverside. Overnight at Paro.
After breakfast, hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – a sacred icon perched 900 meters above the valley floor. Enjoy breathtaking views and spiritual vibes. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Paro.
In time transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey.
