This 9-day expedition to Ladakh is the ultimate high-altitude adventure through the dramatic landscapes of India’s Trans-Himalayan region. Cross soaring mountain passes like Khardung La and Chang La, camp beside shimmering alpine lakes such as Pangong and Tso Moriri, and dive deep into Ladakhi Buddhist culture with monastery visits in Shey, Thiksey, Hemis, and Diskit.
Expect breathtaking views, starlit skies, encounters with Bactrian camels, serene monasteries, and warm local hospitality — all set amidst barren deserts, turquoise lakes, and snow-capped peaks.

Itinerary
On your arrival in Leh, you will be met by our representative and transfer to hotel. Take the day to acclimatize to the high altitude (3,500 m). Enjoy gentle walks in the evening around Leh Bazaar. Overnight at hotel.
Explore Leh’s cultural highlights including Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the Tibetan market. Visit Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis monasteries nearby for a deep dive into Ladakh’s Buddhist heritage. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive via Khardung La (one of the highest motorable roads in the world) to Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a walk on the sand dunes of Hunder. Optional camel ride on Bactrian camels. Overnight at camp/hotel.
Drive to the stunning Pangong Lake via Shyok route. The lake stretches into China and reflects multiple shades of blue. Spend your evening beside the water under the open sky. Overnight at camp
Leave Pangong and drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. On the way, stop at Hemis Monastery if missed earlier. Arrive and relax. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Tso Moriri Lake, nestled at 4,522 m in the Changthang plateau. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, this remote lake is ideal for peace and photography. Overnight at camp/hotel.
Spend the day at leisure by the lake. You may visit Korzok Monastery, interact with Changpa nomads, or simply enjoy the raw beauty of Ladakh’s wilderness. Overnight at camp/hotel.
After breakfast, drive back to Leh through remote valleys and high passes. Arrive and spend your evening shopping or enjoying local Ladakhi food. Overnight at hotel.
Later you will be transfer to the airport to leave for onward destination.
